ClearStrike Payoff Lab Privacy
Plain summary: ClearStrike Payoff Lab is built offline-first and does not collect personal data. Your balances, APRs, strike history, and exports stay on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync of plan data, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app experience described here.
What the app processes
You may enter financial planning details such as balance amounts, APRs, minimum-payment rules, due-day offsets, promo windows, pay cadence, and extra-payment amounts. That information is used locally to amortize schedules, reverse-schedule strikes, compare strategies, and generate on-device PDFs.
Processing happens on your iPhone or iPad. ClearStrike Payoff Lab does not require you to create an account to use the lab.
What we do not do
- No third-party analytics packages tracking your payoff activity
- No advertising networks or ad profiling
- No sale of personal information
- No cloud backup of your balances by the app itself
- No gambling, loot-box, or rewards-store telemetry
Device features
Optional system features such as haptics, home-screen widgets, and local notifications (if you enable them) are handled by iOS on your device. Widget content reflects data already stored locally in the app.
If you export a household PDF packet, the file is created on device for you to share through tools you choose (for example Mail or Files). Sharing is under your control.
Support email
If you contact support at benedekzsolt41@gmail.com, we receive the information you include in your message so we can respond. We use that correspondence only to provide support and do not combine it with in-app balance data, because the app does not upload your plan.
Data retention & deletion
Because plan data remains on device, deleting the app (or clearing its local data through iOS settings) removes the balances, strategies, and strike history stored by ClearStrike Payoff Lab on that device.
Children
ClearStrike Payoff Lab is a personal finance planning tool intended for adults managing their own liabilities. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page with a revised effective year or date. Continued use after an update means you are informed of the current practice: on-device operation that does not collect personal data for analytics or advertising.
